Funny Halloween Costume Ideas

Materials you need:
1. A black “almost” destroyed umbrella.
2. Black leggings or tights.
3. Black tight fitting clothing that will cover your upper body till the torso. If you don’t have an idea what this is – check what ballet dancers wear.
4. Face paint – black color please!
5. Gloves in black as well.
6. Flats
7. Scissors for cutting
8. Fabric glue
9. Safety pins
10. Black paper (construction type)
11. Head band

Step by step instructions on how to make a funny Halloween costume:

Step No. 1 – Get the umbrella and cut it in two to create bat wings. Remove the handle and make sure that no protruding strings or steels are present that came from the actual skeleton of the umbrella.
Step No. 2 – Get the two “Bat wings” and attach it to your leotard. Make sure that it is attached properly with pins or glue. Check which one will work fine. If it won’t be stable, you can sew it directly if you want.
Step No. 3 – Create your bat ears by cutting out two small triangles from your black paper and glue it on top of the head band. It should have the right space between them to create that perfect bat ears.
Step No. 4 – Wear you leotard on top of the black tights and make sure that the wings are perfectly attached too.
Step No. 5 – Finish off your whole look by making sure that you have the right hairdo and makeup. You can use the black face paint to create bat eyes and other details that will complement your outfit.
